The Word inspires and on this page I'll share how the Word inspires me. I'll update this page weekly, so be sure to return again and again.
God’s Word, in its in-finiteness, inspires me to the point that I find connections to it in many of the other things that I read. From a worship song to an advertisement that I view on the highway, I find solace in words. Where some sway and get lost in the music, I get lost in the words. At the moment, I am listening to a song titled “Friend of God” and it reminds me of all the ways in His Word that proves me to truly be a friend of God. Not only is He mindful of me as noted in Psalms 8:3-4 but He manages to work things out for my good as noted in Romans 8:28. I have no other friend who has the power, ability, or desire to work everything out for my good as He does. What better proof of a friend is one who is willing to die for you even when you do not recognize Him as a friend?
